Rotator cuff is composed of supraspinatus, infraspinatus, subscapularis, and teres minor. These muscles maintain rotation of motion and safety of shoulder joint. A rotator cuff tear (RCT) is a tear of one or more of the tendons of the four rotator cuff muscles of the shoulder. A rotator cuff rupture can cause pain in shoulder and arm [1].

Suture anchors are to provide soft-tissue fixation to bone for RCT repair. The bioabsorbable suture anchor is usually used in shoulder RCT arthroscopic surgery. Also, it is unnecessary to require anchor removal, and it has less complication compared to metallic anchor [2].
