Analytical Synthesis of Function Generators Using the Slider-Crank Inversion

Equations are presented which permit the synthesis of the inversion of the slider-crank mechanism for cases where three or four conditions are placed on the input and output crank rotations or their derivatives. The method of development of the equations is described, and an example problem is solved.
