Training of E-commerce talents in China has faced a relatively lagging situation. Under the circumstances that different educational institutions offer similar majors, this paper discusses the E-commerce-technology oriented major construction in higher vocational colleges and institutions, with Jiangxi Institute of Economic Administrators as the case study. The paper has pointed out that the specialty orientation of should give prominence to the cultivation of technical talents so as to meet the social requirement for E-commerce-technology oriented posts and to realize the specialized characteristic of combining application of Computer Technology and innovation of Electronic Commerce. The analysis of the training mode for technical talents of E-commerce-technology is also included in the paper.
