More and more satellites need deployable satellite platforms for on-orbit maintenance and equipment upgrades. This paper provides a kind of deployable truss-type satellite platform. Driving by a motor and two sets of fold-unfold mechanisms, four folding plates of the satellite platform can be folded or unfolded. By using D-H method and ADAMS, the kinematic model of fold-unfold mechanism is established. Some kinematic parameters such as angular displacement, angular velocity and angular acceleration are calculated to verify the smoothness of deployment process. By using ANSYS Workbench, the modal analysis and harmonic response analysis are performed. Dynamic analysis results show that the proposed satellite platform has good stiffness and strength in vibration environment.
