All the backstage codes in ASP.NET are server methods, which will bring about postback when invoked, leading to page shake and even worse causing brower white screen or syncope. Therefore, this paper puts forward three methods for foreground to invoke backstage, avoiding brower shake and meanwhile strengthen user's experience. Those three methods are using hidden buttons, invoking the third party AjaxPro control and using Microsoft Ajax skilfully. This paper analyzes and compares them in five aspects: whether to pass parameter for backstage method; whether backstage method has return value; whether parameter and return value are value type and reference type; whether performance and measurability are high and whether backstage method can quote server control. In the end, it makes Microsoft Ajax the best implementing method to realize foreground code invoking backstage one.
