Abstract
An implicit particle interaction mechanism is proposed, which can be applied to the problems of colliding particle jets and particle tracking in turbulent and unsteady flows. The mechanism is based on the idea of virtual particle-grid interactions and provides a linear dependence of the execution time on the number of particles. The scheme was used in conjunction with the random flow-generation procedure to simulate several cases of particle motion with different interaction mechanisms.
