Abstract
Deployable Euler Spiral Connectors (DESCs) are introduced as a way to use compliant flexures that lay flat when under strain in a stowed position. This paper presents the design of DESCs using the Euler spiral equations. An application of a spinal device is presented as a proof-of-concept of the use of DESCs.
